Graphic Arts
Overview
The Graphic Arts program teaches students how to design and print different types of materials. They learn how to use software like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and QuarkXPress. Students start with basic graphic design and move on to printing methods like offset, screen, and digital printing. The program also includes bindery skills like trimming, folding, padding, and stitching. By the end of the program, students build a portfolio of real work to help them find a job or go to college.

Hands-On Experience
Students work on real projects using professional software and printing tools. In 11th grade, they create designs and prints for school and community groups. In 12th grade, some students work at local print shops through co-op jobs, gaining real work experience.
