Graphic Arts
Overview
The Graphic Arts program teaches students how to design and print a wide variety of materials. They use professional software like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and QuarkXPress. Students begin with graphic design basics and printing fundamentals, then advance to methods such as offset, screen, and digital printing. The program also includes bindery skills like trimming, folding, padding, and stitching. By the end of the program, students build a portfolio of real projects to help them find a job or continue their education.

Hands-On Experience
Students work on real projects using professional software and printing tools. In 11th grade, they create designs and prints for school and community groups. In 12th grade, some students work at local print shops through co-op jobs, gaining real work experience.
