Plumbing Program

Overview

Plumbers and pipefitters install and fix the pipes that carry water, air, gas, and other materials. They also install sinks, toilets, water heaters, and heating systems.

In this program, students learn how to measure, cut, bend, and connect different types of pipes. They also learn how to read blueprints and follow safety rules. This job uses both brain and muscle—students learn to plan, measure, and solve problems.

Plumbers can work for companies, factories, or even start their own business. This career pays well and has strong job security.
