Legal Administrative Assisting
Overview
The Legal Administrative Assisting program at Howard High School of Technology teaches students the key skills needed to support legal offices. Students learn how to manage office tasks, share information with staff and clients, and use common office tools like computers, scanners, and phone systems. They also get hands-on practice writing legal documents such as summonses, complaints, and subpoenas. In addition, students learn how to do legal research using the same tools found in law offices and courts. The skills in this program give students a strong start and allow them to explore different jobs in the legal field.
