Information for Homeschooled Students

Homeschooled students are welcome to apply to NCCVT. Please note the following requirements:

• Pre-Registration: Students must be registered in a Delaware public school before completing the School Choice application. If registering in a public school for the first time, complete the Delaware standard registration form after October 15. Note: Registration can take several days to process in the State's system.
• Report Cards: If your child does not have official report cards, you must create and submit a parent-generated report card. This report should include:
  • A list of subjects your child is studying
  • Any online or curriculum programs being used
  • Attendance information
• Other Requirements: Homeschooled students must also submit all other standard application materials, including the completed online application and Student Data Sheet.

Important: Only complete applications will be considered. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be processed. You will receive an email if your application is incomplete—please address any errors before the deadline to ensure primary consideration.
