Electrical Trades
Overview
The Electrical Trades Program teaches students how to safely work with electricity. Students learn how to wire homes, buildings, and factories. They also learn how to fix circuits and keep equipment working.
The program includes lessons on solar energy (photovoltaic systems). Students practice reading blueprints, bending pipes, and installing wires and outlets. They learn real job skills using real tools.
After finishing the program, students can start working or join an apprenticeship. Some may qualify for advanced placement in a trade program through Tech Prep.
