Overview

The Veterinary Science program at Hodgson Technical High School is a hands-on program that covers a wide range of topics related to animal care and management. This program provides students with the skills necessary to pursue various careers in veterinary medicine, animal science, and agribusiness. Students will learn about animal production, physical restraint and handling, conducting health exams, and more. The program also delves into the ethics of food animal production and current agricultural issues, preparing students for a comprehensive understanding of the steps involved in producing and marketing animal products.

Earning Potential Range:

$15/hr to $27/hr, depending on role and experience.
