Nursing Technology
Overview
The Nursing Technology Program helps students get ready for a job in healthcare. It teaches how to care for people and prepares students to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in Delaware. Students learn in the classroom, in a lab, and by working in a local nursing home for at least 75 hours. The program teaches how to keep people safe, help them with daily tasks, and check their health. After finishing the program, students can take the CNA test and may be able to work in their senior year.
