After School Activity Routes
New Castle County Vocational Technical School District offers afterschool activity buses to help families. These buses take students to a stop that is closer to home, making it easier for parents or guardians to pick them up. These stops are not meant for students to walk home from.
Please check the school-specific routes below to find your student’s route number and stop. It's a good idea to visit the stop with your student so they know where it is. You and your student should also agree on a safe place to meet.
Bus ride times may change depending on how many students are riding and how heavy traffic is that day. Over time, each route will follow a routine based on the sports or activities happening that season. We serve all of New Castle County. If a bus is full and has many stops, the ride may take up to 2 hours.
The 6:00 Afterschool Activity Buses usually run every day. The 4:00–4:30 Afterschool Activity Buses only run one day each week. Contact your school to find out which day that is.
