Auto Body

Overview

The Auto Body program teaches students how to fix and repaint cars that have been damaged. They learn how to remove and replace car parts, estimate repair costs, take cars apart and put them back together, and paint both new and repaired panels. Students also practice using CCC software, a tool used to write repair estimates.

This program is great for students who enjoy using tools and solving problems with their hands. Auto body work takes skill and care; It's not something machines can fully do. Many students get jobs at car dealerships or body shops. Others may work for insurance companies, paint stores, or parts shops. Technicians often work on their own and take pride in what they do.
