Co-Op: Earn While You Learn

One of the best parts of an NCCVT education is the chance to start working in your career area before you graduate. This program is called co-op. Students can begin as early as the spring or summer before their senior year.

During co-op, students get a real job in their career field. They earn money and high school credit at the same time. To join co-op, students must meet high standards for grades and attendance. Each year, about 80% of seniors take part in the program.

Thanks to our business partners, students learn useful skills that prepare them for life after graduation. The Class of 2023 earned about $11.5 million through co-op jobs.
