Introduction
Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington, DE, prepares students for immediate employment and college by providing state-of-the-art career and technical training combined with a rigorous academic curriculum. Howard currently serves 850 students in grades 9-12, and offers 13 different career programs of study from which students may choose. As Delaware's only urban career and technical high school, Howard strives to meet the needs of all students who enroll. Eighth grade students from five different public school districts and dozens of private and parochial schools in the surrounding area submit applications to attend Howard.
