The NCCVT School District has four comprehensive high
schools: Delcastle, Hodgson, Howard, and St. Georges
as well as a thriving Adult Education Division to best serve our 4,000 full-time day students, our 3,500 adult evening students, and the entire community. We are fortunate to have 596 qualified faculty and staff, 42 industry-approved career labs, and state-of-the-art technology. These factors, along with progressive instructional programs, have resulted in challenging high school learning environments that uniquely prepare our students for success in both the workplace and in the classroom. Results from bi-annual customer satisfaction surveys inform us that we are meeting community and labor market needs, as well as producing a skilled graduate for the workforce of the 21st Century.
We are the first and only public school district to earn the prestigious Delaware Quality Award. We firmly believe that the partnerships we have forged with hundreds of Delaware employers benefit our students by strengthening and enriching their education with real world experiences. The District is committed to continuous improvement, academic excellence, relevant career instruction, and authentic work-based learning experiences.
