Location: 555 Hyetts Corner Road - a 113-acre parcel donated to the school
district by the Welfare Foundation, Inc., which owned a 2,047-acre undeveloped
tract in southern New Castle County known as Whitehall. The property is located
just west of Delaware Route 1, and south of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.

254,576 square feet . Footprint of school structure covers 7 acres; 5000 pieces
of steel; 2 million pounds of steel; 50,000 bolts. Each gymnasium truss weighs
12 tons, and is 23 feet high at the center. 80 classrooms, including science and
career labs.
Cost: $54 million
Programs: The school offers comprehensive high school academic curricula
and career and technical training in the areas of Health, Service and Science
Technologies, Construction and Mechanical Technologies, and Information
Technology.
