Delcastle offers a variety of educational experiences for students integrating academic courses with practical vocational-technical problem solving. Lessons learned in math and English are re-enforced in the student's career program. Through the implementation of block scheduling, the student-to-teacher ratio has decreased while learning time has increased. Students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and to participate in student organizations. A full complement of athletic programs, academic, and vocational clubs is offered.

Delcastle's business partnership programs are some of the most effective in the state of Delaware. Present business partners include MBNA, Christiana Care, State Farm Insurance, and the national Automotive YES Program which involves a number of local car dealerships.
